This person will serve as the technical authority for occupational safety and environmental documentation, lead a multidisciplinary team, and act strategically to connect the HSE agenda with business objectives. Key responsabilities • Lead HSE management across distribution centers (DCs), co-manufacturing sites, and corporate operations, ensuring legal compliance, environmental governance, and continuous improvement. • Serve as the technical authority for occupational safety and environmental documentation, representing the operation before CREA and relevant environmental agencies as applicable. • Manage a multidisciplinary HSE team, including decentralized (dotted-line) management and external partners/service providers. • Implement and strengthen behavioral safety programs (BBS, SafeStart, DuPont STOP, or similar) and cultural transformation initiatives. • Apply incident investigation and analysis methodologies (Fault Tree Analysis, 5 Whys, TASC). • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal safety and environmental legislation, including management of permits, authorizations, conditions, and other legal obligations. • Lead strategic waste management — including Food Waste — with a focus on traceability, compliance, and opportunities for reduction, reuse, and recovery. • Establish and monitor KPIs, targets, and HSE performance improvement plans, promoting pollution prevention, waste reduction, and efficient use of natural resources. • Ensure HSE management of suppliers and partners, as well as operational readiness for audits, inspections, and interactions with regulatory bodies. Key Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary & Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with an active CREA registration. • Postgraduate degree or specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering. • Solid experience in HSE management, with exposure to logistics environments (distribution centers and transportation) and corporate settings. • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external partners. • Background in logistics, e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing companies is a plus. • Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel. • Knowledge of project management tools. • Intermediate English (conversational). • Valid Category B driver's license. • Availability for periodic travel. • Experience in manufacturing environments and knowledge of MAPA legislation and applicable requirements is a plus.
