Visit our Institutional Page Business Analysts at Nubank As a company at the forefront of Brazil's financial revolution, Nubank has experienced exponential growth since its inception. To keep your growth path healthy, numerous critical decisions must be made constantly. Business Analysts are fundamental to the decision-making process because they must not only be able to handle large amounts of information and data, but also consistently think of ways to improve our clients' experience. It is the BA's responsibility to structure and analyze the data, and use the results to test different solutions to improve Nubank's efficiency. We are looking for people who are independent and unafraid to take the initiative to identify and solve problems that are not necessarily obvious. You can read more about it in our blog and get some insights into how we work. About Portfolio Analytics: we own the decision infrastructure in Global Lending: valuation, monitoring, predictions, the AI-first analytical stack, and foundational tests. If a lending decision is made on a number, this team most likely owns how that number is produced. Our scope covers all programs and products: Unsecured, Secured, PJ, Private Payroll, and New Markets, across BR and MX. Core assets include valuation governance (Photon, predictions, Profeta), the Weekly KPIs and tactical monitoring backbone, GBR and State of Business, the UFTV2 foundational test, and the LCW / Claude analytical workspace. Challenges ahead: H2 2026 is about scaling the AI-first pivot from this team out to the whole BU, making valuation governance the standard every book runs on, and extending the monitoring backbone beyond BR. As a Business Analyst, you’re expected to: • Do a lot of investigative work, focused on deciding which data makes the most sense to use in which situation. If you don't have the data, it's your job to think about what tests can be done or how to extract the information you need to answer your questions; • Support your team in making data-based decisions by monitoring analysis and decisions, ensuring the flow of projects and making the process of taking risks comfortable despite the uncertainties; • Learning how to work with a large volume of data to build a solid foundation for decision making with calculated risks - even knowing that not all the answers are in the data and/or that not all the data you would like is available;Use tools like SQL, Python and Scala - taught during your first weeks with us - for data extraction; • Understand our products and interactions with other areas; • Take advantage of opportunities to grow and learn from a well-prepared and highly qualified team; • Opportunity to work in a complex, dynamic and diverse environment, participating in projects that will impact a large number of clients. • Manage 5 BAs in Portfolio Analytics, the team that owns valuation, monitoring, and predictions for every credit program across Global Lending (BR + MX) • Valuation governance (all programs — Unsecured, Secured, PJ, Private Payroll, New Markets). • Own Photon, the prediction frameworks and the Profeta automated valuation pipeline • Set and defend the standard for every book to value its portfolio on the monitoring backbone (high senior leadership exposure). • Weekly KPIs, tactical monitoring, monthly GBR and State of Business monitoring routines with high exposure to the whole BU. • Evolve the core dataset infra for the whole BU to prepare for global scalability. • Foundational testing: Ownership of foundational testing methodology and infrastructure. UFTV2 is already the reference framework for the entire lending process. • Explore new opportunities and BU support, including scaling AI-first analytics across the BU, new valuation dimensions such as collection costs and regulatory framing, and extending the monitoring backbone beyond BR. What are we looking for? • Analytical capacity: ease with numbers and calculations, having the ability to solve problems mathematically; • Business basics: dynamics between risks and opportunities, as well as interaction between business areas and technical areas (products/engineering); • Problem solving: ease and creativity to seek solutions to day-to-day challenges and achieve the best results; • Ability to understand how your decisions and work impact our customers' experience, seeking results that align with our purpose; • Willingness and ease of learning, especially for tools; • A mix of c redit valuation and analytical-platform skills setting valuation methodology and governance, as well as building the AI-first tooling the rest of the BU runs on. • Openness to receive feedback and incorporate it into your daily life and development; • Adaptability to the multifunctional environment; • Profiles that add value to Nubank's culture.
