Empresa: Lastro
Legal Intern Internship · Hybrid About us Have you ever thought about being part of a company that's transforming the real estate market with Artificial Intelligence? We are Lastro, a fast-growing Brazilian startup behind Lais, the most advanced AI in the real estate market. We work alongside real estate agencies, helping them revolutionize customer service, manage broker teams, boost marketing campaign efficiency, and use data intelligently to drive their business forward. Our goal is simple: to lead the transformation of the Brazilian real estate market with artificial intelligence. Come build the future with us. About the role We found our product-market fit almost two years ago and raised our Series A round one year ago. Now the focus is on accelerated growth, and to make that happen, we give the team plenty of autonomy to build and grow alongside the company. This is a unique opportunity: you'll be the first intern in our Legal department, which was created from scratch not long ago. You'll work side by side with our Legal Counsel, helping structure legal processes, policies, and tools while learning firsthand what it means to be the legal arm of a hypergrowth startup. You'll work broadly across Contract Law, Labor Law, Tax Law, IP, and LGPD (Brazilian data protection law) matters, always in partnership with our specialized external law firms. Here you won't just observe: you'll get hands-on from day one, with real room to propose solutions and see your work generate direct impact on the business. And we're not talking about a fixed scope: given Legal's natural proximity to discussions around Finance, RevOps, and Strategy, there's real room for your role to evolve beyond pure legal work, contributing to projects with company-level impact. What you'll do Support the review and adjustment of contracts with clients and vendors; Help structure and document legal policies and workflows that support our growth safely and efficiently; Provide support on projects and demands across Contracts, Labor, Tax, Intellectual Property, and LGPD; Assist in organizing and following up on work with our outside counsels; Research legislation, legal doctrine, and case law to support decisions and opinions for business stakeholders; Act as a bridge between Legal and other areas of the business, helping translate complex situations into practical solutions; Structure processes and automations to make the team's day-to-day easier. What we're looking for Currently pursuing a Law degree; An autonomous, analytical profile: someone who enjoys proposing solutions and taking ownership of their own work; Business mindset: genuine interest in understanding how Legal can generate value for the company, acting as an enabler rather than a roadblock for other areas; Clear communication and strong organizational skills to handle deadlines, manage demands, details, and multiple fronts at once; Curiosity about technology and openness to learning tools that bring more efficiency to the legal routines, either executed by legal or by business & operations teams; Enjoys turning recurring tasks into clear processes, providing predictability for those who depend on your work; Prior knowledge of two or more of the following areas: Contracts, Labor, Tax, IP, or Privacy & Data Protection; Interest in fast-growing startups. Bonus points Experience at fast-growing startups; Hands-on Legal business experience; Exciting professional or personal stories of challenges. If you have a good story, submit your application. Benefits 💳 Caju Card, giving you more freedom in how you use your benefits. 🏋🏿♀️ Wellhub, extended to legal dependents. 🧑⚕️ Alice Health Plan and Odontoprev Dental Plan. 🤍 SulAmérica Life Insurance, security for you and your family. 💵 Semi-annual performance bonus.
