Job Description: Plant Operation Lead / Sumare, Brazil Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world As a Plant Operation Lead you will ensure EHS is the number one priority and products are manufactured on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives. Implement manufacturing standards and defines guidelines for assigned area(s) but also determine directions, priorities and assigns resources with full accountability for results of functional area as well as establishing and managing budgets. The impact you will make in this role • Champion a strong culture that delivers high EHS performance in the plant and is consistently demonstrated as the first priority • Cooperates with Site Leader and Area Operations Leader for operations and with the site Manufacturing Engineer Manager to understand strategy and being responsible to execute actions from VSIP in reference to OEE, PPU and COPQ. • Prioritize, coach, and lead systemic operational maturity improvement, e.g. productivity and quality. Coordinates operating activities so that products are manufactured on schedule, within quality standards, and meeting cost including related warehouse and logistics according objectives as directed by customer-focused value stream feedback • Works to continuously enforce and improve daily tier processes, daily accountability boards, standard work, visual controls, material flow, and coaching. Encourages plantwide participation in continuous improvement suggestion activities. Actively participates in relevant corporate lean programs/initiatives. • Embrace to deploy technology such as data automation, digital tier, Dozuki and new process to improve operational efficiency • Deliver the day, week, and month in EHS, Quality, Cost and Service • Continuously assess and improve the system maturity between areas against the execution model for operational effectiveness • Ensure to place training/onboarding/development and build upskill and flexibility in production resources around the entire site. • Ensure to maintain high accuracy of all relevant transaction in production, good transferring etc. and align with GFS. • Assure and support investments of factory renewals to minimum standards • Tier Management System, Standard Work, Coaching, EHS and Product Mgmt. of Change, Regulatory Compliance, Listening and Communications, Continuous Improvement suggestions, Kaizen, On-boarding, Training and Development, Total Productive Maintenance • Continuous improvement as prioritized through Site Master Plan, Site X-Matrix via E2E VSM. • Site Supply chain IBP at the production planning level • EHS and QA shared accountability. Your Skills and Expertise • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or similar. • Strong leader able to define, prioritize & execute win the day tactics for operations. • Demonstrated effectiveness, efficiency, and communication in site management role. • Responsible for multiple, complex value streams or manufacturing/site operations. • Strong principle-based coaching and collaboration skills. • English proficiency is a must. Spanish is desirable.
