This role demands a blend of technical mastery, leadership prowess, and strategic thinking to guide teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure alignment with business objectives. How you'll make an impact: • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of highly skilled technical professionals (e.g., software engineers, architects, data scientists). • Define technical roadmaps, architectural strategies, and best practices for complex systems and products. • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment. • Drive technical innovation, research new technologies, and assess their applicability to Hitachi's product portfolio. • Ensure the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of developed solutions. • Collaborate closely with product management, project management, and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Conduct technical reviews, code inspections, and provide constructive feedback to team members. • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. • Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing within the team. • Represent Hitachi's technical capabilities to internal and external stakeholders. • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. Your background • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • More than 10 years of experience in software development, Network Control Systems, EMS (Energy Management Systems), GMS (Grid Management Systems), SCADA, or related technologies. • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in technical leadership or people management roles. • Solid experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale, complex software solutions. • Advanced English proficiency, • Strong knowledge of modern software architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Agile/DevOps methodologies. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go. • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills. • Experience with project management practices and leading cross-functional teams.n for technology.
