Job Description The Compliance Analyst will support the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of Pismo’s global Compliance Program. Based in Brazil and dedicated to Pismo, this hands-on role will support compliance operations, due diligence, financial crime compliance, regulatory matters, risk assessments, governance, monitoring, and reporting across the jurisdictions where Pismo operates. The successful candidate will manage assigned activities with an appropriate level of independence, under the guidance of Compliance leadership, and escalate complex or sensitive matters when required. The analyst will also use approved artificial intelligence tools and agents as part of daily work and contribute to the development of AI-enabled compliance processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Essential Functions • Execute day-to-day activities supporting Pismo’s global Compliance Program. • Conduct onboarding, ongoing, and event-driven due diligence reviews of clients, partners, vendors, and other relevant third parties. • Perform sanctions, politically exposed persons, adverse media, and other required compliance screenings. • Support risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, remediation activities, and escalation of identified concerns. • Assist with assessments involving new markets, products, services, partnerships, and business initiatives. • Support regulatory registrations, submissions, inquiries, examinations, and audits, as applicable. • Assist in developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, controls, training materials, and process documentation. • Prepare compliance metrics, dashboards, trackers, management reports, and supporting evidence. • Monitor deadlines, action plans, and remediation activities, following up with responsible stakeholders. • Respond to routine compliance questions and collaborate with global and cross-functional stakeholders. • Use approved AI tools and agents to support research, document review, analysis, monitoring, drafting, and reporting. • Help identify, design, test, document, and implement AI-enabled workflows, ensuring appropriate human review and compliance with applicable governance requirements. • Support additional projects and priorities as required based on business and regulatory needs. This is a hybrid position. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications For this role, you must be based in Brazil Language Skills • Proficiency in English at B2 level or above (Upper-Intermediate) Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, International Relations, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Technology, or a related field; OR 5 years relevant work experience • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, financial services, SaaS, or another regulated technology environment. • Previous experience in Compliance, Risk Assessment, Due Diligence, KYC (Know Your Customer), or Client Screening, with a strong focus on identifying and assessing risks related to anti-money laundering (AML), corruption, bribery, financial crime, and reputational risk. Technical Skills • Experience in Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime Compliance, Due Diligence, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Audit, Legal, or a related function. • Working knowledge of anti-money laundering, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, due diligence, regulatory compliance, or risk-management concepts. • Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to perform detailed operational activities accurately and consistently. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines. • Ability to work with an appropriate level of independence while recognizing when guidance or escalation is required. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation. • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Portuguese. • Willingness and ability to use artificial intelligence tools and contribute to AI-enabled process improvements. • Ability to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with client or third-party due diligence, compliance assessments, monitoring, reporting, audits, or regulatory matters. • Experience using data analysis, workflow, automation, or artificial intelligence tools. • CAMS certification a plus. • Experience with Monday.com and Jira tools is a plus.
