Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments. Visa University is seeking a senior, commercially minded Learning Consultant to accelerate client growth across Latin America and the Caribbean by transforming learning needs into AI-enabled, high-impact capability-building programs. This role will partner directly with clients, account executives, Visa Consulting & Analytics, regional learning teams, global Visa University teams, and external partners to diagnose strategic skill gaps, assemble existing curriculum into ready-to-deploy programs, shape tailored learning solutions, and help clients build the skills required to compete in a rapidly evolving payments and AI ecosystem. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in learning strategy, consulting, instructional design, AI-enabled learning, and business development, with a proven ability to create scalable frameworks, customize existing Visa University content, and build learning experiences aligned to client business priorities. The role requires strong understanding of LAC market dynamics, Visa University curriculum, responsible AI adoption, skills-based capability building, and business performance metrics, with accountability for driving revenue, managing expenses and margins, and expanding new revenue-source programs across assigned markets. Reporting to the LAC Visa University Head, this individual will serve as a strategic learning advisor and execution leader, combining client-facing credibility, commercial discipline, human-centered design, and practical AI fluency to help Visa clients and partners build future-ready capabilities in payments, digital transformation, and intelligent ways of working. Key Responsibilities: • Own the end-to-end development and commercialization of Visa University learning solutions across assigned LAC markets, integrating AI-enabled design, skills-based capability building, delivery, measurement, and continuous evolution • Client needs discovery and business alignment • Partner with clients, account executives, VCA consultants, and regional teams to understand client business goals, identify capability gaps, and define the learning needs required to support growth, transformation, and performance priorities. • Lead exploratory and discovery engagements using consulting, design thinking, and human-centered design methodologies to uncover opportunities for training, upskilling, and competence building. • Stay current on payments, AI, innovation, and industry trends, and translate market developments and Visa capabilities into relevant learning opportunities for clients and partners. • Build trusted relationships with clients, VCA colleagues, learning consultants, account executives, and internal partners to ensure strong collaboration and productive engagement throughout the lifecycle. • Solution packaging, value proposition, and commercialization • Develop and manage the go-to-market strategy, value proposition, sales pipeline, and revenue targets for new revenue-source training programs and bespoke learning solutions. • Map, categorize, and assemble existing Visa University, VCA, AI, and cross-functional learning assets into ready-to-deploy programs that address client needs and scale across markets. • Build sales materials, proposal toolkits, reusable frameworks, and packaged offerings that help account executives, consultants, and learning teams articulate benefits, assemble proposals, and industrialize repeatable solutions. • Leverage global Visa University support teams across marketing, product, finance, and global product offerings to maximize economies of scale, reuse standard assets, localize content only where needed, and build a more repeatable, scalable, factory-like learning practice. • Collaborate with regional resources to identify qualified opportunities, promote cross-selling with advisory services, Visa products, and VCA verticals, and support proposal development and deal formalization. • Track pipeline, revenue, expenses, margins, scorecard metrics, and deal progress in relevant platforms, providing regular visibility to market leads and stakeholders. • Program design, execution, feedback, and continuous evolution • Design and customize scalable, AI-enabled learning solutions, including adaptive learning journeys, simulations, practical use cases, bespoke programs, and study trips, by adapting Visa University curriculum to client-specific roles, priorities, and learner needs. • Develop repeatable processes, models, templates, documentation, and content customization approaches that enable Visa University to deliver tailored solutions efficiently and consistently. • Apply AI responsibly across the learning lifecycle, using generative AI, learning analytics, skills mapping, personalization, and workflow-based learning to accelerate design, improve learner relevance, and strengthen measurable business impact. • Coordinate program delivery with curriculum teams, learning consultants, facilitators, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear RACI, seamless execution, budget discipline, and timely delivery. • Define and implement evaluation approaches that use stakeholder business drivers, KPIs, learner insights, and client feedback to measure impact, improve program effectiveness, and evolve offerings over time. • Use delivery results, client feedback, and market learnings to refine packaged programs, enhance future proposals, and continuously strengthen the Learning Consulting practice. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD • Education and Industry Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Instructional Design, Education, Technology, Data, or a related field; master’s degree a plus. • 10+ years of experience in learning, consulting, sales, business development, or digital transformation. • Payments industry experience, with understanding of AI use cases, digital payments, fraud, risk, data, customer experience, and emerging payment models. • Learning Strategy and Program Design • Experience conducting learning and development needs analyses, diagnostics, solution design, and evaluation. • Proven track record designing successful training programs. • External consulting experience translating client needs into tailored learning strategies. • Ability to use AI to improve learning solution efficiency, personalization, localization, content creation, and measurement. • Business Leadership and Commercial Management • Strong business acumen with practice-building experience. • Business development and sales experience. • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, revenue, expenses, and sales reporting. • Hands-on, proactive driver with creativity, commercial aptitude, and curiosity. • AI-fluent and tech-savvy, with comfort working across technical, business, and professional learning topics. • Collaboration and Team Leadership • Experience working across matrixed regional and global teams. • Experience leading high-performing teams and fostering learning, development, and smart risk-taking. • Inspirational leader who promotes inclusion and diversity of thought. • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement • Strong presentation, communication, consulting, stakeholder management, relationship-building, and influencing skills. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships and communicate complex concepts persuasively. • Ability to collaborate with clients, curriculum teams, and account executives to translate needs into learning plans and deliverables. • Strong communicator and storyteller who is open to new ideas and perspectives. • Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish Visa is an EEO Employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
